Oscar bitch feelin' the heat for blasting 9/11

TMZ.COM: Marion Cotillard -- Why We Hate the French
I love TMZ!

Oscar bitch Marion Cotillard must think Americans don't know French so she can pretend she didn't say what she said. Well, she said it. Her Paris-based lawyer, Vincent Toledano, tried spinning his client's comment about 9/11, claiming she was taken out of context. But we've looked at the original transcript and she did indeed say that Americans destroyed the Twin Towers themselves because they wanted it rebuilt and blowing it up was cheaper than renovation.

Marion -- foie gras you.

UPDATE: Cotillard's rep has released the following statement to TMZ: "On February 16, 2007, I appeared on a late night French television program,'Paris Dernière.' In the last 48 hours, my statements on that program have been taken completely out of context and been crafted into a story that hasn o merit. The conversation on the talk show included a dialogue about conspiracy theories. At no point did I intend to contest the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001, one of the most tragic days in all of history. Nonetheless, I sincerely regret if my comments offended or hurt anyone."

Freak Accident Claims Heidi Montag's Stepbrother

Heidi Montag's 24-year-old stepbrother, Eric O'Hara, a veteran of several combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, has lost his life in a bizarre accident at the Colorado hotel where he worked, the Rocky Mountain News reports.

O'Hara died Thursday at the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel in Steamboat Springs, after he slipped off a sloped roof while attempting to remove snow.

"Losing my brother, at an early age, is such a tragedy," The Hills star, 21, said in a statementment released through her rep. "I just loved him more than anything," Montag's statement continued. "He was just so patriotic. He really wanted to go to Iraq and help and do all that he could for his country. He felt like it was his duty. I'll really miss him."

"Having made it through 15 months in Iraq, and then to have this happen," said his uncle, Dave Patston, "it's really tough," reports the News. "Everyone loved him," O'Hara's grandmother, Dolores Spurgeon, also told the paper (via TMZ). "I never met a person who did not love him." She added that O'Hara's colonel in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division in Tikrit, Iraq, called to say, "Eric was the most remarkable young man he'd ever worked with, a born leader." He felt a call to duty, his grandmother also said, because "He'd been in and out of [New York's] Twin Towers when he was little. His father was a stockbroker and had offices there."
Their destruction, she said, "just gnawed at him. He decided, 'I need to go to defend my country.' "
Heidi's father, Bill Montag, is married to O'Hara's mother Terri, both of whom survive Eric, as do his father, two sisters, another stepsister (Holly Montag), his grandmother and other relatives.

TMV is simply proving their anti-french attitudes with this article. I don't care about Marion, and what she said was very stupid, but lets face it, shes french and that some how makes it worse when American actors such as Rosie, Charlie Sheen all say the same nonsense. And any "news" website that calls a woman a bitch doesn't come across to me as a site to be taken with any credibility. TMV is a trash site.
