Topps to release autographed GWB baseball cards

Yes! I want me some George W Bush autographed baseball cards! Some killjoys say it's in bad taste to release these cards because they believe GWB is trying to make money off his post-9/11 heroism, but I think they're just suffering from Bush Derangement Syndrome. If I didn't know what that illness can do its victims, I'd be outraged over their outrage! As you well know, victims of BDS tend to act irrationally when it comes to all things George Bush, sometimes, even a bit homicidal. All we sane human beings can do is be patient with them, for these poor suffering creatures will probably never recover from this illness of hate. I guess that's the worst part of BDS. There's just no known cure.

George W. Bush and baseball card giant Topps have teamed up to create limited-edition autographed cards of the former president tossing out the first pitch at a World Series game in 2001.

“Our 2011 Allen & Ginter product will continue Topps’ historic tradition of chronicling heroes both on and off the playing field,” Topps Vice President Mark Sapir said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s set will include limited-edition autographs of our country’s 43rd president, George W. Bush.”

Bush's appearance at the game was to some a courageous act because many people feared further attacks. (Click here for the rest!)

I find it ridiculous that "critics" are whining about how GWB is the first president to autograph his own line of bball cards. They're probably just jealous 'cause GWB is going to be worth more than gold someday! Oh well.
