I recall seeing footage of crowds of Palestinians cheering in streets on 9/11. I hope a lot of Americans will remember that.
The media has been unfair to GWB in their critcism for his "lack of effort" when concerning the Palestinian-Israel issue. He did way more than Clinton. Regardless of his efforts, GWB's attempt at reconcilliation is doomed to fail as all previous and future attempts have and will fail. God bless him for trying.
I have read on several occasions that the first time anyone had ever heard of a "Palestinian" is when Israel declared itself an independant, soverign state.
