Lexie baby!

Meet my mutt. What a cutieeeeeeee! He is spoiled, demanding and a huge pain-in-the-ass. But I love him. He's way too fat though... but pugs aren't suppose to be thin, hey?

Hello Danielle,
You have a cute dog and a very nice blog.

I was once out jogging and was *attacked* by a pack of angry miniature Lhasa Apsos - there must have been 7 or 8 of them, all blue and green eyed. I was laughing at the spectacle, but they kept trying to bite my ankles. LOL.

I take it you are originally from the Philippines (Thank God for the spell-checker because I can never spell Philippines right)?

If you don't mind me asking, do you speak Tagalog? I majored in Anthropology and Archeology, so I am always interested in cultures,
folklore, and languages.

In the Patagonia region of South America, there is a Native race known as the Alacaluf. At one time, there used to be more than 5,000
of them, and now there are only about 15 of them, and only six, who can speak their language.

It always amazes me how quickly a culture can die out.

I hope I'm not boring you.

Take Care.

If you don't mind me asking, do you speak Tagalog? - Yes, a little. More like Taglish. It's cool though, and hopefully one day I'll be fluent in Tagalog, Spanish and some other language (I dunno, maybe Japanese or French?).

Hi Danielle,
Yes Lhasa Apsos are tiny fluffy dogs. These were weird in that they all had one green eye and one blue eye. It was like Twilight Zone stuff.

I had French in high school and Spanish in college, pero mi espanol es muy malo these days. LOL.

Since, I've become so interested in the Middle East and Iraq, I've learned some Farsi and Arabic.

It's funny, when I was growing up,
I always thought the Philippines was just one island - LOL, and you have something like 7000 of them.

And as a child, I always got the Mormons confused with the Muslims. LOL.

Had no idea of the extent that Islam had propagated itself. If it wasn't for the Chinese in the East and the Europeans in the West, we would all be Muslims now and the likelihood of an Internet even existing today would be null.

Because you wouldn't have the Renaissance in Europe and subsequent Colonization of the New World and the implementation of
Democracy, and the scientific
basis which depended on rationalism, our Judaeo-Christian traditions, and other byproducts of our Western Heritage.
